Jacob's Ladder
One of the Wasatch Front's most technical descents — steep rock drops, ledges, and tight switchbacks through Corner Canyon.
Jacob's Ladder is one of the most technical descents on the Wasatch Front — a punishing sequence of rock drops, ledges, and tight switchbacks that drops roughly 1,200 feet through the upper reaches of Corner Canyon in Draper, Utah. The trail is almost exclusively ridden downhill, typically accessed via a climb up Ghost Falls or Ann's Trail to the ridgeline, then descended as part of a larger Corner Canyon loop. The terrain is relentlessly steep and rocky, with significant exposure on several sections and moves that will challenge even experienced riders. This is not a trail for beginners. When conditions are dry, the rock is grippy and features are predictable. When wet, the limestone and quartzite become dangerously slick — the trail should be avoided entirely after rain or snowmelt.
