Hill Aerospace Museum

The Air Force's aerospace collection at Hill AFB — 70+ aircraft from biplanes to the SR-71, free admission, no base access required.

Also known as: Hill AFB Museum, Hill Air Force Base Museum

The Hill Aerospace Museum holds the official aerospace collection of Hill Air Force Base — over seventy aircraft and missiles spanning the early-1900s biplanes through Vietnam-era jets and Cold War strategic bombers up to modern fighters and unmanned platforms. The museum sits off-base near the North/Roy gate, so base access is not required to visit. Indoor galleries and the outdoor air park together hold a B-17 Flying Fortress, B-29 Superfortress, B-52, SR-71 Blackbird, F-4 Phantom, F-16, A-10 Warthog, and a steady rotation of Hill AFB-restored airframes. The museum is operated as a partnership between the Air Force and the nonprofit Aerospace Heritage Foundation of Utah. Free admission. The flight line on Highway 89 makes it visible from miles away — the SR-71 and B-52 sit out front.
