The Museum of Natural Curiosity is a 45,000-square-foot family science museum at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi — opened in 2014 and designed for kids roughly ages 2 through 12. Four indoor galleries (Discovery Garden, Innovation, Kidopolis, and Water Works) plus a 3-acre outdoor garden gallery hold over 400 hands-on, body-engaging exhibits — climbing walls, water tables, miniature towns, sound chambers, and a rope-bridge obstacle course. The format is open-ended play rather than guided learning. Part of the larger Thanksgiving Point complex which also includes the Ashton Gardens, Butterfly Biosphere, and Farm Country, so families typically build a half- or full-day visit around multiple attractions.
