Government Rapid

Government Rapid at mile 63.7 of the San Juan (mile 36.8 from Mexican Hat) — the most technical rapid of the Lower San Juan run. The rapid is littered with boulders requiring careful navigation. Class III. Camping below Government is restricted to nine designated sites only.
