Event Waiver & Release
Liability waiver for participation in Desert Maritime events, meetups, and expeditions.
By participating in any Desert Maritime event, meetup, expedition, workshop, or gathering, you agree:
1. Assumption of Risk
Outdoor activities involve inherent risks including serious injury or death.
You voluntarily assume all risks.
2. Release of Liability
You release Desert Maritime, its owners, affiliates, and representatives from liability for:
- Injury
- Death
- Property damage
- Loss
arising from participation.
3. Medical Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Personal insurance
- Physical fitness
- Emergency planning
4. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Desert Maritime against claims arising from your participation.
5. Governing Law
State of Utah.
