Lower Disaster Falls
Lower Disaster Falls is the second of the two drops of Disaster Falls, 7.2 miles into the Canyon of Lodore and roughly six tenths of a mile below the upper drop, with a pool between them. Scouting is common from river left, where a portage trail also runs. Difficulty and run beta for this drop in isolation are deliberately unauthored — the Class III–IV rating on the parent record describes the sequence as a whole.
